yesterday was a darn freaky day. made my way to school for november program as usual. this old lady came to me as i tapped out from hougang station and asked me to take a Today paper for her. in my head i was thinking "why can't she get it herself?" anyways, being a good kid :D, i went up the escalator and proceeded to the newspaper auntie. she gave me one paper, and when i was about to leave, she asked, "who's this for? you? or the old lady?" it felt strange, like the feeling you get when you think you're being punk'D. i just said that the paper was for the old lady, with a seriously blur look (cuz i REALLY didn't know what was going on). to my surprise, she suddenly snatched the paper from my hand and scolded me! something like, "NO NO NO! YOU CANNOT TAKE FOR HER! SHE ALWAYS TAKE TWO!" then she kinda chased me out of her sight o.o the old lady was at the corner with her friend. when she saw what happened, she scolded me too! something like, "WHY YOU TELL HER THE PAPER'S FOR ME? YOU SHOULD'VE SAID THAT IT WAS FOR YOURSELF. AIYO!" then i was like, "oh" and i walked off. i mean, how was i supposed to know that the old lady was banned from taking newspapers, so she asked other people to take for her instead? fancy getting scolded byt 2 totally unknown people, and so early in the morning?! such a weird day...

hello once again. i realised that i don't really blog mucn now. maybe it's caused by the computer ban during exam period. oh gahh. hmm where shall i start?

went for service on sunday. it was pretty funny, although some parts made me wanna fall asleep. i like the worship songs :D quite cool. then after service, went to eat at j8 before heading towards bishan park to blade. i guess it's been a long time since i last bladed, because i couldn't really stand up at first o.o slowly, i got used to it and could sorta "whee!~" here and there. i don't see how those guys can brake at the grass... everytime i tried, i would fall forward and land on my hands, making them muddy ==

nicholas and junming had some trouble starting off, but after putting in loads of effort (and falling down lots), they did it! hooray for the both of them! haha XD oh yes and there was this slope that was somehow quite steep, with red bamboo growing at the side of it. me, zhengwei and jianhui went down that slope, and i fell on my bum while trying to brake. darn it they were laughing at me! it was really painful lo! the BEST part was that i landed in mud, with ants crawling there, so i probably squished some ants. poor ants D: got some mud on my shirt too, cuz of my muddy hands. btw i got 9 mozzie bites on my legs and some on my hands. i could actually see the mozzies (about 3) sucking blood from me, and not letting go. grrr...

had dinner at my grandparent's place. mummy asked why my shirt was dirty and i told her about the falling down thingy zzz... then she asked why i was wearing white, and i said that she told me to, cuz it's true.

the 2nd part of the post! (it will be way too long if i put all together)

went out with jingyi and claudia on deepavali! clara recommended this thai eating place at shaw tower. who knew? it was CLOSED when we were there. gahh. then there was this door that was supposed to lead us to suntec. claudia opened it and the inside was quite freaky, like a good murder place. so, we ran through the thing and found ourselves outside shaw tower. it was like "huhh?" then we walked to suntec. spent around 1/2 our trying to decide where to eat. finally we decided to eat at pizza hut. the food's darn good, and the ambience is perfect for a romantic dinner ;D we saw this man who looked like mr clausie! heehee that pointy hat plus unshaven beard plus pot belly combo looks just right on him :)

after that, we went shopping! claudia and jingyi bought tights from cotton on. i bought shoes from bata (cuz that's here you buy footwear duh!) we didn't really go anywhere else as it was raining that day. poop. and it wasn't properly planned, so we had totally no idea what to do except shop. can you believe a non-shopper like me actually shopping? that only happens if all of us are in dire situations. ok back to the story. we bought a stuffed elephant for clara! her birthday's coming up soon! XD oh we also had trouble deciding between a $9.95 one and a $12.95 one zZz... the result of having all decision-makers pangse-ing us to go to hk.

went off to plaza sing for a change of scenery. actually we didn't do much at plaza sing, just hung around at mos burger while checking out their really cool cup designs. left for home at around 6.10pm.

the last part for today! i shall talk about the november program then.

this is the 2nd day of the november program. believe it, i was late, again. woke up at a freaking 7.18am today! totally freaked out this morning. and i reached school at 7.46am. had lessons as usual. quite boring i guess, but ms zahila's gonna make us play a game tomorrow. cool :D

backtracking to 28/10...

yesterday was jasmine and sophia's birthday! haha HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! you 2 are finally 15, but i'm still 14. oh man... mrs nathan brought deepavali snacks for us. i ate till i was really full. urhhhh... and i thought that was the end of it. turns out, junan bought a birthday cake for jasmine. all the music people (plus ian and yonglin) celebrated jasmine's birthday. and jasmine had a disgusting way of cutting the cake. it looked really gross, but i still had to eat it, despite my darn full stomach.

then we had music. went through paper and learnt about some asian drumming thing. quite cool to listen to all the beats and stuff. i know people like fengye won't gettit... haha kidding! XD after music, fion was supposed to go for her flu jab, but she was quite nervous and asked me to jab it with her. i did. it was a very interesting feeling. quite a nice one. the doctor's office has this penis erection hard-o-meter. there was a peeled banana, a normal banana and a cucumber, and they asked how hard is yours if it was erected. haha! if i could take a pic, i will. that's not something you see at your regular doctor's office eh? hee.

right now, my sis asked me to sign a "contract" that she came up with. it lists all the commitments of getting a PSP. wonder if she'll live up to that. our previous GB and NDS commitments totally backfired. now we're talking PSP! sis is gonna use ALL her angbao money, while the remaining will be paid by dad. she's so macho about that. haha. ok it's contract signing time. blog another time!

heehee hello folks! welcome me back! woo! today we had showdown at palawan beach, sentosa. it was really quite fun, but super duper uber messy and dirty.

first we started out by meeting doreen and jianhui at harbourfront station. doreen has a strange way of giving directions. "turn 180 degrees and walk..." haha :D then we introduced the rest and we went up the monorail to get to sentosa. finally reached palawan beach to meet up with clara. that was around 10am or something. palawan is a really awesome beach! we all took off our shoes and played in the water! those darn guys kept throwing stuff at us. these include seaweed, rocks, gardenia plastic filled with water and some giant coconut. we girls just wanted to soak in the atmosphere of that place, but we ended up "battling" with the guys. they're mean.

so, the event finally started at 11am. we played this ice breaker called "kou xiang tang". they made us do weird poses e.g head touch something green, nose touch someone else's armpit etc. i think the most impossible one is where we had to put 10 noses together. this proves that we all got big heads o.o the event planners also taught us the "dead cockroach" and "hamburger". i'm always one at the bottom, which is super uncomfortable D:

the next game was the telematch. we had to finish a bar of soap by rubbing it on ourselves. they said that we could use the seawater to wet ourselves. some people ended up bathing in the sea, which is sooooo NOT being green. they're polluting the water you know, and that's just wrong. the soap was impossible to finish... the second part was that we were supposed to spread a tin of wax on ourselves, then sprinkle some prickly heat powder. only the guys used the wax, and jingyi was sprinkling the powder like we were dancing at a party. then we had to roll to the next part, which is to pick up mentos floating in ketchup. the thing was that we had to pick them up with our mouths. urhh... so by the time we finished the race, we were sticky, powdery and sandy. but i felt an oddly strange happy feeling ;D

the next part of the showdown was some captains ball game. it was all teams versus each other... which i must say was pretty chaotic. there were beach balls, bananas and cabbages. let me just announce that i got splat by the banana. haha. and people [includes me] were picking up cabage leaves from the ground to throw to our catcher. that counts too. heehee. then there was a mystery item, which turned out to be a raw chicken. it was funny seeing the chicken flying through the air :)

the last game was this battle game [something like dawn of war]. the main objective was to burst other team's flag with water bombs, while protecting your own flag. each team made a vanguard flag and stuck it into the ground, while others went to collect water for the water bomb. i think our team was "innovative", as annabel had the idea of putting zhengwei's slippers between our flag so that it will raise the CG and prevent it from falling blah blah... [our flag was folded in half you see] then all the defenders got into position by sitting around the flag and blocking it to the extent of not even being able to see it. when the game started, some teams came and bombarded us with their bombs, so we got kinda wet. then the game masters sprinkled powder on us, which made us spotty. in the end, our flag managed to stay quite dry, although we looked like survivors of the world's largest bakery explosion.

after the whole event, we went to bathe. then, we went back via monorail and i went for my music lesson [i was half an hour late]. lucky teacher was already doing theory with another student, so she didn't have to wait for me. had music all the way till 5pm. came home, rinsed my clothes, bathed, and went for steamboat.

right now, i'm so darn tired... zzz. seriously. oh yeah forgot to mention that bathing was torture because i have some blisters and abrasions on my feet, so even walking is hard. i look like some constipated penguin. oh well.

i'm a darn tasty roasted chicken ;D

sam's back again! haha. finally there's something to blog about.

ok yesterday i went for duty for the sec 4 greduation ceremony. coincidentally met shiqi and gang at hougang mall, then we went to school together. reached school at around 5.15pm and did duty till around 8.30pm. that means 3 hours plus of ushering parents, father quek, ms soh and ms ng [only zhiyu and i]. really busy and stuff. oh and yihong gave some speech thingy. i can already imagine russell doing the same thing. haha. father quek's speech made me a little emo, with all the students hugging students/teachers/parents. i was thinking about how i'll be hugging 7ahs/other 3 hummers/teachers/mum + dad.

enough about that. after the ceremony, i received an sms from mum saying that dad has booked some chalet at pasir ris. i was like super duper tired when i reached home. didn't feel like going, but no choice. it was a long ride there. and i tell you, the place looks really freaky at night. it's like those kinda haunted mansions. but anyway, it looks real good when you turn on the lights XD haha. pokemon-ed till around 12.15am, then went off to dreamland. left dreamland at a freaking 6am! my whole house was awake already. what's up with waking on a saturday morning at 6am?! anyway, i felt super awake. ate macs for breakfast, then went to play at pasir ris park! one of the best places! everything was totally mobile. packed up at 12pm.

hellooo!!! haha it's good to be back. sorry i haven'tbeen posting. daddy banned me from using com during the EOYs. YAY exams are O-V-E-R :D but mrs nathan said that lessons resume on monday. oh poo.

so much has happened during the 1 month that i was totally AFK. actually had loads to post about, but yeah D: anyway, now all that's embedded in my head. my archives won't have the "Sept 2008" thingy. oh well.

hehe at least there will be the "Oct 2008" thing ;D ok so i shall blog about random stuff, since there's nothing much going on at this time, and i still need to ADJUST to using a com again. haha.

i gotta really bad sore throat. kinda sucky. hope it gets better soon.
hahh now i got back my pokemon game! made my eevees evolve. they rock.
