recently, i've been visiting the facebook profiles of my primary school friends, and i realised one thing - i'm a total plain-jane compared to them. people like eeching, eunice and noelle look so glam in their photos. food for thought: should i make an attempt to go shopping, or just pretend to be a boy amidst them? they really make me feel like a total pauper o.o is that good? i don't know.

oh annabel and clara got me thinking real hard during recess today. the question was "how many fingers do you use to type?" sounds simple? think again man. at first i was SO sure that i used all 10, but then i stopped to think again, and my brain got all messed up. thanks peeps. anyway now i know that i use 6 fingers to type (minus mr. pinky and mr. thumb on both hands). you may think it's weird, but it's pretty easy to type this way, for me :D

claudia became a class treasurer today. apparently, yanxu couldn't hold on to that post anymore because he's a SL. mrs nathan came into class this morning and randomly picked someone, which luckily/unluckily became claudia. she got a shock (i think) but then settled with it quite well. you go claudia! she's gonna get her treasurer badge during CEC investiture tomorrow. i think it's so amusing that she can become a treasurer for a day, and she's gonna collect a really SHINY badge the next day. it's like a shock bomb thrown from the mrs nathan jetplane. oh well, claudia will make a GREAT TREASURER! :D

had CEC investiture rehearsal after school, then me, wantian and claudia went to KFC to goof off. hahhs. so it was a normal eating/gossiping/homework session when...

cool right? haha. oh and to add on, there was this mum who left her daughter in a pram while she ordered food. the kid was crying while sucking a pacifier, so the pacifier dropped out, which made her cry even more. mum didn't seem to care, but this KFC guy started looking at the kid and telling her not to cry, and she really stopped! but the moment he walked off, she started crying again. so he had to keep going back to her while doing his job at the same time. claudia, wantian and i were really amused at this scenario. it was like the KFC guy was the kid's parent, and mum was nobody. how awesome is that? :D

afternoon programme starts next week. i'm totally packed after school until the year ends. apparently the HODs and ms soh feel that we should stay back in school more so that we WILL study. they believe that it we're left on our own, we won't study. helloo? who's that stupid as to not study for the big Os? OBVIOUSLY they're trying to prevent us from resting (it's beneficial so that your mind will be at peace and you can focus). some of the teachers are trying to get them to cut us some slack. hopefully it'll work. i think HODs and ms soh should take into account that we're already nagged down by our folks at home to stop fooling around and start revising. HI is too strict.

damn it. MAY NOT (i didn't say "won't") be blogging so often already. cyber ban created by my folks to control my cyber wants.

hello people :D let's talk random today!

1) my fingernails are too long to do anything related to pressing buttons. even doing this post and sending smses are hard. should i cut them? i have piano lessons this saturday and my teacher's gonna be super irritated by those woodpecker sounds i'm gonna make while banging on the keys. damn. ok i should :D

2) i just uninstalled and installed messenger because it was all screwy and so didn't work at all. this new one's kinda strange. i don't even know if it's a new version or not. the display piccas for chat windows are on the left. the messenger icon has some yellow line across it. they don't use the green man if you're online, now they colour code everything using squares (green, red, orange etc.) i can't do any of those colour coding thingy (not that i even use it, but still.) what's wrong/right? poo.

3) i so wanna go OBS. totally unfair that i missed my chance last year (don't ask why, bad memories). anyway, i asked salanne to buy me a shirt (so that people will know that i'm at least a sec3 and not some primary school kiddo). cheers to her! i owe her big time.

4) i STILL don't like the lesson structure for our school. no breaks, massive homework, and teachers complain that we don't pay attention. hey try paying attention when you're already wiped out by all the other naggings and stress.

5) i SUPER don't like the idea of home visits by mrs nathan/mrs ganesan. it's kinda freaky if you ask me. imagine both of them appearing at your doorstep without an invite! darn it. wantian said that i could be one of them because mrs nathan stays near my place. oh man! hopefully i will escape. my room's still as messy as last year. oh well, there goes the "cleaning up room" resolution! i hate making empty promises D: this home visit thing has got something to do with mock exam and dropping subjects. oh why why does mrs ganesan have a car?!

6) claudia takes awesome photos :D love her cam, love her more (not a les). to claudia: i look SO retarded in your snaps of me! darn. spastic ok D:

7) i realised that my parents have this camera that has this chrome effect. it's super cool and goes really well with macro shots. if i got a cable and if the camera's hadn't gone bonkers (it dies in 45 mins after you charge and use it & some part is dented cuz we dropped it plenty of times, which probably led to the bonker disease), i'll totally upload the super awesome snaps of WHATEVER that i took :D

8) yoongaunn goes for tuition at kovan? well that's something that i learnt today, but like they say, "huo dao lao, xue dao lao". you are never too old to learn. then again, i'm not even old. oh well, hees. if he assasinates me, i'll do something darn horrible to his little charlie :D wahahaha!

9) there's this book called "Life At The Shallow End". it's darn nice and the main character, electra, is really random. that makes me happy :D oh yeah there's also a "claudia barnes" in the book, but her character is totally different from claudia ang wj ;D

heyho people! came back from sec 2 camp a couple of days ago. slept for 15 hours after that, before waking up again! hoho XD yep now i've got the ENERGY to blog about it. but i won't blog so much in detail cuz it's not really my camp.

campsite was really quite ulu. nothing more than a scouts camp and some farms (but they were at the main road so it's not counted). trekking (more like amazing race) was kinda un-fun. we had to walk all the way to the main road, which was... whoa darn far away. so we sung cheers and stuff to get the group going! SOME people kept kicking sand though, which was major irritation. i don't know how the trainers planned the trekking thing. our first stop was a dragon fruit farm. there was an old man who looked kinda surprised when he saw a whole bunch of people entering. then he scolded us and told us that the farm doesn't open on mondays. too bad. then the next stop was a goat farm. our instructor bought a bottle of goat milk and all of us (including PSLs) had to have a taste of the milk. quite nice, but it's got a gross aftertaste. we were sorta delayed at the goat farm cuz of some misunderstanding between our instructor and the owner. who knows what happened?

there was campfire prep in the evening. charity was doing a dance to the song Low. shiqi, sherman and i learnt the dance for fun :D i guess we gve opportunities for the people in charity to lead themselves. the dance was kinda cool. shiqi and i kept LMAO at dominique and his michael jackson move. it looks kinda wrong, but nevermind :D

station games were quite fun, particularly the marbles one. the EVEN group was split into 2, then they had to play the marble game from 2 different places. the first group to reach the cup won! sherman and i took charge of one group each. my group kept screwing up halfway, and we had to start all over again. then there was this moment in time when we ALMOST reached, then it dropped! and the other team laughed at us, then their marble dropped! then i laughed and went all crazy, in-your-face style.

hgh elements was screwed. the instructors were half fierce, half friendly. our group got in trouble cuz jingwei threw stones at the instructor. the caribena kiapped my thumb D: i cheered in the sun, hoping to sunburn myself, but to no avail D: adele, minhan, dominique etc all had worse burns than me.

campfire was awesome :D charity got 37/40 for campfire performance! wow didn't expect we'll do so well. the ava people kept playing songs like YMCA and You Raise Me Up. anyway, it was dancing to them :D the sky was really cool that night. i saw a whole bunch of stars at one spot. wonder if it's the milky way? who knows.

charity got 2nd best class! it's a miracle how that happened. oh well ;D

erika has sunburns too. i'm jealous D:

hello. ok i know i haven't been cyber-active recently. there's so much work to do! and i mean A LOT. oh poo. being a sec 4 really sucks D: i somehow satisfied my new year resolution about not procrastinating and passing up work on time... but it only lasted for a few days. now, homework is totally piling to the top. why can't the teachers give us a break? i mean, they have a long break in between each lesson. mrs nathan end work at 11am on a certain thursday. so not fair.

oh well. going for sec 2 camp this monday! will definitely get roasted like a marshmellow. taking EVEN group with sherman. minhan you better watch out >:D wahahahahahh. i PROMISE that i'll blog about the camp cuz i know some people get their entertainment by reading my posts. haha.

CNY is so blah. what's with the tacky and cheesy songs?

hello fellow freaks.
i shall be typing like that for now,
because i'm too LAZY and tired to
type like my usual way.
and the sec four schedule
doesn't permit me to type my usual way.
so there you go.
this post shall be simple (not necessarily short) and sweet :D
ok here goes.

my sister just came back from sec one camp.
turns out that she made SIX new friends (all girls),
and that a lot of people could tell that she had a sister called SAMANTHA.
the all went, "hey is your sister samantha?"
she felt strange.
so did i when she told me.
how LOL.
she's cute in a weird way because
first she asked me for jiayi's number.
i gave it to her.
then she asked me to ask jiayi for some other people's number.
then i said,
"if you have jiayi's number, why don't you ask her yourself?"
HAHA.
oh and she wrote affirmation notes,
ONLY to the PSLs of 1 charity.
tomorrow she has lessons.
muahahaha! XD

today we went to republic poly.
the place was opened in 2007.
a super duper big compound.
LOVES.
it was quite cool as we went around,
visiting all the courses and stuff.
their canteen is the BESTIE (maybe cuz i was hungry that time).
anyway, their canteen looked more like a food court,
complete with aircon, music and that tv that the hougang mall macs has.
we're going to singapore poly tomorrow.
whee!
doreen studies there.
hopefully i get to see her :D

hello one and all! ok my whole family's asleep now. in order to not wake them up, i have to be quiet with the mouse and keyboard and everything. so this post shall be short and sweet :D

so, it's my FIRST POST OF THE YEAR! whee!~ haha i'm being lame here. anyway, i just wanna wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR! how awesome is that.

i shall be positive by only saying the...

3 things i like about 2009:
1) no more ohheights! because ohheight sounds like oh-height, which is strange.
2) i'm gonna be a HI senior, meaning that i'm wiser and more mature than before. nonetheless, i will still have that little kid in me :D
3) my sister's gonna be a sec1'09 student in HI!

oh gosh, school starts tomorrow.
