helloooooooooooooo!service this morning. today, dr niko came to preach the gospel, and he brought along his indonesian worship team and some family members and disciples! the worship team was really good! the worship leader was this guy who is like in his 50s (he started 4 churches), and he had an amazingly good voice :D when i heard it, i was like "WOW, he's awesome." their indonesian worship is pretty much like ours, except that they incorporate dance steps into their praise. HAHA! we had to dance along today. though it's not as sophisticated as mass dance in school, believe me, it was super fun :DD
dr niko is a very anointed man of God! though he was speaking indonesian throughout and there was a translator, i could feel the power of the Word upon me. and his message today was very simple, about how we should give thanks to God and serve Him to ensure us a spot in the heavenly kingdom, and how we can look forward to 2010. i felt impacted, anyway, cos i could feel that God presence today was just really strong :D
well, so after service, we went to tampines S-11 foodcourt to fellowship. on the bus there, me, jianhui, jasper and desmond were talking nonsense (: like from NS, to breaking chicken heads off the bodies, to deciding whether we have the right to eat food (cos it's wrong to kill animals, and plants hurt when you pluck them from their roots - according to desmond), and i also told them something lame about pulling peope's legs. desmond said that he felt like separating my head from my body (and that was how the chicken convo started). HAHAHA!! funny people from an awesome cell group :DDD
ohhh, and the main thing we talked about is the student concession that'll be ending in like half an hour! yes, i'm going to poly, and so i don't have concession anymore. oh gosh, that sucks. cos i can't take anymore meaningless train and bus rides (not that i ever had, but i plan to), and transport fares will be much much more expensive, so i'll be draining my parents' wallets just to top up my card ): the worse part: i won't hear my own card making the "beep beep" sound when i ride a bus. now it'll be a loud "BEEP!" reminds me that i'm getting old. anyway, i've passed the middle age of teenhood! damn.
WHY MUST I PAY ADULT PRICE? DO I EVEN LOOK LIKE AN ADULT TO YOU?! EVEN PEOPLE OLDER THAN ME IN JC STILL HAVE CONCESSION. WE ARE CALLED POLY STUDENTS FOR A REASON YOU KNOW!
on a brighter note, huibing's getting her appeal results this friday! hope she gets into the same course as me! :D

well, those JC folks have started school and orientation and all that already, while i still have like 10 weeks of holiday left. i know my previous sentence might make people jealous, but trust me, i'm suffering in silence. i even had so much time to count the number of facebook friends i currently have. it showed 322, but i counted 323. feeling disturbed ):bottom line:
IT'S SO BORING!
almost everyday when i'm on facebook, i'd post something that involves me being bored. lol. i seriously can't wait for school to start. and frankly speaking, i'm actually pretty envious of those JC people who post stuff about orientation and how they get like a thousand friend requests on facebook. HAHA. who knew i'd get jealous over such a trivial matter?! anyhoo, uncle ji (who lectures in NP) says that poly orientation is much more fun than JC ones. oh boy (:
yesterday, noel and i were sorta complaining about how facebook and msn have become so quiet since those JC people started school. well, for the first time, i actually agreed with him! too bad it's during the point that we're about to move off to different schools. haha. i told him this:
"NO MATTER, BY THE TIME WE START HAVING FUN DURING ORIENTATION AND POSTING ABOUT IT, THOSE JC FOLKS WILL BE MUGGING THEIR BRAINS OUT."

gosh, i sound mean. but it's sorta just to make us feel better, so, pardon me :D
today, had cell group a david's house as usual. haha, every cell group session is full of laughter, yet teeming with meaning :D enjoyable, as always. learnt about having the right keys to receiving miracles (: after that, had fellowship at j8's food court.
grandparents' house after that. played some games with my mum, siblings and cousins. haha. we played Cat & Mouse, Pictureka and Waves (also the game we played for cg today :D). was quite surprised that they sorta picked up the game quite quickly! even my brother started playing Waves like a pro (: LOL!
got into trouble with my dad a few moments ago. my phone bill rose to 200 plus bucks this month! *everyone say "wow"* partly cos of the mobile web thing. you see, it was all a misunderstanding. my mum once said something about the internet and how we need to pay even if we don't use it, so i thought she was referring to the mobile web thing. that's why i just used it like no one's business. who knew it'd incur like $118 in bills?! crazy. plus, i overshot my sms by 537 smses. thank God my dad didn't do anything drastic to my phone.
so my dad askedme to explain to my mum. it was scary at first, but she didn't really scold me. in fact, it was more like casual talk. we sorta jumped issues, from the phone bill to my uncle's family having one laptop for each person, to pineapples. and yes, I'M ALLERGIC TO PINEAPPLES, JUST LIKE MY MUM (cos she asked me to lick the one she was cutting). and also some antibiotic that she's allergic to also. haha, i think i'm catching her genes. yessiree.
EVERYTIME i wanna post something nice and easy, it comes up to THIS. whatever, i didn't even say this post was gonna be short and nice :/ LOL.
p.s. my brother is funny cos just now he was using the laptop to go to the loco roco website, then after playing for like one hour, he came to me at the desktop and asked if he could use it. so i swapped places with him (yes i was using the desktop just now). then i heard him playing the same loco roco game on the desktop! xD
"BECAUSE I DIDN'T USE THE DESKTOP." was his excuse. sometimes i really wonder what's up with him.

hello folks. MOE smsed the posting results this morning, and yep, i got into...SP BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE.
:D my heart was pounding like mad when i opened the sms. i also don't know why. haha. well, seems like i'm gonna be classmates with jianming and russell again. wow, 7 years for russell, 5 years for jianming. LOL! annabel applied for it too, but she sorta appealed to AJC. gotta wait till next week to see if she got in or not. most likely, she's there. congrats to all who got into their desired choices. for those who are kinda disappointed, it's ok. God always has something good in store for everyone :D
yesterday, i went for a photography tour thingy with annabel and claudia. i felt the most tomboy cos i was the only one NOT wearing a dress. haha. went to haji lane first and took lotsa photos! (like 60 plus) then we went to clarke quay and took around 40 plus photos. it was really fun, cos we get to do crazy stuff in public. we were also kinda careful not to get gagged by the just for laughs people XD photos are all on facebook. if you're not my facebook friend, then.. HAHA. annabel tagged me in like 52 photos! i had 91 notifications when i logged on yesterday, and more than half of it was "annabel yeo has tagged a photo of you". LOL! totally spam. after clarke quay, we went to vivo city. stopped by forever 21 for like almost an hour to look at the clothes.
"IF I WAS A MULTI-MILLIONAIRE, I'D BUY ONE OF EVERYTHING FROM FOREVER 21."
that was what i told annabel and claudia. HAHA :D
we went to the rooftop area, but they drained the water in the pool to do some maintenance or something, so, no photos from vivo city.
after that took mrt all the way to compass point to meet up with clara. had dinner at mos burger (but i sneaked in a hotdog). i felt so guilty for eating outside food there, but clara, annabel and claudia kept saying that it will be fine. left for alumni choir practice. so many people didn't go :/
what i ate for the whole of yesterday:
1 bread for breakfast.
1 hotdog for tea/dinner.
1 mamee noodle pack when i got hungry in the middle of the night.
and i am not on a diet!.
gee, now i'm craving for some wanton mee.

hey wassup peepo. today, after service, i went with the N346 to watch The Tooth Fairy! :D HAHA. it's ultra funny (: i think our entire group (like 18 of us?) were super noisy in the cinema :/ especially david and fiona! wow, sitting beside both of them is like... heh. idk what word to use, and with my limited vocab, it just makes it worse! LOL! ok no la, to be optimistic, i'll say those 2 are fun to be with :D david kept telling everyone that fiona is his "friend who's at the movies for the first time, so don't mind her." then fiona just kept screaming, "EHHHHH!" cute :D LYNETTE DIDN'T COME TODAY! she promised she'll come next week. BETTER KEEP YOUR PROMISE!to fiona: why couldn't i eat the popcorn? o.o

hello again! yay, finally i have caught ONE episode of Chowder on tv! after like 2 weeks man :D it was the sleep eater one. hoho.today i went roaming around hearland mall with fiona. was supposed to meet her at 1.15pm, but i woke up at 1pm! WOW. so i told her "why not let's meet at 2 instead." Thank God she's not petty. HAHA :D and i didn't know she's the kind who tries the makeup tester thing on posters rather than her own skin :/ it's like, vandalism? haha.
SPECIALLY FOR HUIBING!
and yes, forgot to mention that when we were at sentosa, we went to play luge. we occupied 3 of the skyride things. annabel, claudia and clara were in the first, me and huibing in the second, and wantian and jingyi in the third. wow, who knew that the ride went up so high! huibing and i were sorta like screaming and looking down (idk why we were looking down. maybe for the fun of it :D).
we also kept on discussing about what would happen if we dropped our slippers. CONCLUSION: NOTHING. clara, in front, was like hiding her head in annabel's armpit or something throughout the whole ride XD after a while, we decided to use our loud voices for soemthing more productive than screaming our heads off. so we sang happy birthday to annabel! wantian and jingyi followed, but the timing was a little off. or maybe it's cos of the speed of sound, so we heard ourselves first, then wantian and jingyi's. ok, i shall not go into physics (: i must admit: the skyride was MUCH more fun than the luge. my arm almost broke off while riding the luge D: AND I GOT STUCK HALFWAY!

woohoo! i'm back after many days of procrastination. HAHA :Dso many things have happened over the past week or so. i went for the poly open house at SP and NP with annabel and wantian. something funny happened at SP:

LOLOL. then when we went to the new life science block, i saw jianhui and some of his friends. haha, it was funny.
the following day i went for NP open house again with jingyi. we went to check out the business courses they had, and also, well, try to find my uncle for the SECOND time. but alas, mission failed again. something super embarrassing happened on the way to SP. you see, jingyi wasn't very familiar about the bus services around that area, so i had to, supposedly, "lead" the way. after quite a while in the bus, i saw the SP sign and said "eh press the bell!" so jingyi did, and we prepared to leave (we were sitting on the upper deck). jingyi, being the kiasu auntie, went down the steps first. the bus uncle saw jingyi getting off the bus, but he didn't see me coming down the steps! so both of us gave the O: face when i was about to leave the bus, but then the uncle closed the door and drove off. it was like, super embarrassing. lucky i had the guts to stop him. so, as i got off the bus, both of us laughed and laughed :D then i realised that we stopped off 1 stop early -.- what luck!
oh and i got 9 points for l1r4 and 12 points for l1r5! :DDD minusing the cca, i would have 7 and 10 points! WOW! was super duper happy that day, i screamed and jumped around XD congrats to everyone who did their best during the Os. and i also thank God, cos He was the one who blessed me with my results (: yayyy.
well, after results day, we had the next 4 days to key in the posting choices. anyway i went to sentosa on friday, so i only had 3 days. 3 days to fill in 12 choices! my mum and grandma kept bugging me 24/7 on what my choices will be. so anyway, i put SP biomed, then NP biomed, then NP vbs as my first 3 choices. won't tell you the rest. HAHA.
referring to the previous paragraph, yes i did go sentosa last friday with 7ahs to celebrate annabel's 17th birthday! (yes annabel, i will pay back the 3 years worth of birthday presents that i owe you.) we had a picnic at palawan beach, then we went around the place to the different attractions. did you know they have an animal show there? HAHA. maybe i'm just suaku :/ finally went to underwater world after almost 8 or 9 years. i suppose the baby fish i had seen 8 to 9 years ago have all grown up!

yesterday i went to j8 with claudia, annabel, clara, zhongming, zhiqi and valerian to watch Cirque du Freak: A Vampire's Assistant. boy, that shows pretty good! i think there might be a part 2, based on the ending. the main guy, darren, is like, wow. EYE CANDY :D had choir with HIHS alumni in the evening. so much to do for the upcoming concert!
today i went back to CCPS with jeslyn, chloe, huijun, sharmane and kezia. i tell you, that school's getting way artsy fartsy. everywhere you go, you see art pieces by the students. and i never imagined myelf to have been as short as the P1s once. like what people say, i'm really short, but they haven't even reached my shoulders yet! said hi to some teachers and ms teo, the principal. ms ng barely remembers me, but she said i did look familiar. HAHA! after that, we went to chloe's house to slack and have a movie marathon. HER HOUSE IS SUPER NICE. and lucky, it's only 5 bus stops away from mine!
oh, wow, in this very post, i have touched on like 6 subjects in detail. whee~ :D i rock la.

oh oh, one last thing. bringing lynette to church this sunday! phew, finally, after like 2 months of "next week"s.

yo. today's been a pretty slow and easy day for yours truly... and i suppose all the other neighbours of mine. you see, there were a couple of wild new year parties around the place last night from about 11pm to 2 plus. this big group of people downstairs kept blowing those party tooters that were driving me nuts! D: i also saw people playing with sparklers at the balcony, while other houses had people jumping like kangaroos. HAHA! my angmoh neighbours downstairs, too, had some good fun. they had over some friends and were super noisy, singing songs and whatnots :D when it was 12am, everyone shouted "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" together. it was really awesome; not like the typical night time silence you would get on any other day (: and i noticed that the people downstairs had a one-second headstart during the countdown from 10 to 1, compared to the one that was showing on tv. HAHA.guess what time i slept.
5am! :D
mum thought i slept at three. cos she asked me and i went "uhmm..." and she said "three right?" and i said "yeah! :D"
guess what time i woke up.
1.30pm! :D
my breakfast = lunch.
today i went to hort park via the long forest walk thingy at harbourfront. again, like last week, it was raining D: anyway, it was a really really long walk, but on the way we saw trees shaped like a zombie, a dog, a hand holding something and a hand that looked like it wanted to pursue a ear-digging career :D i bought this stripy cactus from hort park, while my mum and sis bought this succulent, which had a nickname "living rock". after that, we walked back that really really long walk.
had dinner at some coffee shop at west coast. the yu tou mi fen was really awesome, though i didn't like the soup cos of the strong XO. by the way, it's "ex oh", not an emoticon (: after that, we left the place. mum asked if i wanted to pee, cos the ride home would be pretty long. i confidently said "nope".
oh my oh my, how wrong was i -.- barely 15 minutes into the car ride, i felt my abdomen starting to feel heavy, like i was 3 months pregnant, no kidding! i guess the pee started to accumulate rapidly, cos then it felt really horrible and i knew my pee hole muscle couldn't take it much longer. the worse part was, there was no place to stop and take a toilet break. i kept on singing my phone songs so i might be able to divert my attention. for the first time, i was really hoping for a super short car ride. and, since it had rained earlier, there were water droplets on the window which reminded me of pee! i think i held my super high tide for like half and hour before rushing to the toilet when we got home :/ and on the ride home, i kept thinking of whether i'll get some kidney problem or something. scary. and i was also thinking of all the "need to pee" scenes in cartoons, like fairly oddparents and chowder! :D
darn, i think i have a row of ulcers on my top lip. hurts like crazy D:
