heyhey! tis the last week of school before we break for the june holidays! happy am i? NO! why? because every day is one day closer to the O level chinese exam on 1 june D: i love my exam index number though. so easy to remember :D it ends with a 123. hees :D yay. i am so glad our school doesn't adopt that "whole day chinese" curriculum. i swear, i'll drop dead with cheng lao shi talking nonstop for 5+ hours o.o

sports day this friday! what a great way to spend the last day of term 2. at least we get to fling our books to jiu xiao yun wai, for once (did i use it right?). took part in captain's ball. team name's yellow monkeys! yay we rock :D had heats today. we played 3 matches - win 1, lose 1, draw 1. pretty evenly spread eh? at least we won 1. went home after that and played badminton with mum, sis and bro. right now, my right arm is aching. at least i managed to get some REAL exercise, other than PE lessons. it feels good.

there's this strange phenomenon about boys over flowers. i don't see why so many people actually like that show o.o when i mean "like", i mean "absolutely nuts"! ok so the guys in the show are kinda cute, the girl's cute too, and the uniform's cute. but so? i HATE that show. i think i'm weird, because...
1) i love korean period dramas (the one with the war stuff and those legend thingys).
2) i would rather wear a giant t-shirt with the words "i suck" on it, than wear a blouse that says "i rock".
3) jeans to skirts, any day :D
4) i have absolutely NO dresses.
5) i hate shopping.
6) my chin creates a crease whenever i close my mouth o.o
7) i colour the squares on my graph paper for fun.
8) i'm obsessed over sudoku! now doing #334 in my giant sudoku book.
9) i have glow-in-the-dark halloween t-shirts from the States.
10) i'd rather suck ice than drink water.

someday, i'd like to travel to the other end of singapore on my tricycle.

it's stupid monday today. i hate mondays.

BAD SIDE:
they announced during assembly today to see the sec 2s going to croatia, which means that the trip's still on. damn it. i was happy for nothing D:
GOOD SIDE:
i can still be a volunteer if i sign up with doreen! (she's 19, is that considered as adult?)

BAD SIDE:
my temperature, surprisingly, didn't hit the trigger point, meaning i have to stay in school.
GOOD SIDE:
i'm not sick.

BAD SIDE:
another vice principal?! weird.
GOOD SIDE:
at least there's hope that ms soh will change.

cheng lao shi's gonna give us chinese work everyday D:

today was a super crazy sunday! i love it :D

church was awesome. dr kim from korea came over to preach. her piano skills are just fabulous! don't belittle her stubby fingers, they're actually very fluid! also, it was uncle kong's 80th birthday today, so we sang a birthday song! that was very cute :D and he got this giant box of chocs for his birthday! hees. lynette's coming with me mext week, i'm excited! 7 more days :D

went with doreen after that to meet with music friends at city hall. then, ate at BK. we left first, while doreen waited for her friend. went to hmv to look for haydn's London symphony CD. wasn't very difficult, thanks to labels :D however, the price was ex, so we proceeded to esplanade library to find one that we could borrow and burn. ran there as there wasn't much time before the ramen girl started at 3.40pm at tampines mall. a record time of 3 minutes to get from hmv to esplanade library! super tiring, but quite fun :D

couldn't find the CD we wanted, so we RAN back to hmv to buy it. met doreen and her friend on the way. gosh, when we aready did so many things, they were just on their way to the library?! haha. afer buying the CD, we rushed outside to find a cab. thankfully, there was one. cab fare jumped by 20 cents after every 8 seconds. lucky the total cost was less than 15 bucks. split up upon arrival: jasmine and i went to tampines mall, tingying and fion went to century square. tampines mall was super crowded, we had to say "excuse me" so many times just to get up one floor. reached the top floor in a record time of 1 minute! that was very surprising.

bought ticks. called them. they rushed over. went to see show.

ramen girl was not very good. to think we ran the whole day just to see a show about a girl and a bowl of ramen. anyways, that show has just added itself to my movie list, which means that i'll never forget that show.

today was kinda boring o.o watched guiness world records before i left the house. woah those people are amazing! i am shocked.

then met wantian and annabel at hougang hub before walking over to zhongming's house. watched the davinci code there, but i only watched half of it as i had to go off for music lesson. oh and i spilled some hot mushroom soup on my pinky finger. pain D:

saw dorothy at heartland mall's kfc while i was walking home from music lesson. chatted for quite a bit (quite long actually) before i went off. talked about stuff like... :D i think she might think i'm weird for not wanting to go off soon and for not sitting down to talk. oh well, it was good.

had some funky homemade california rolls at grandma's house (yes, that's where i went). mum bought all the ingredients from isetan. deliciously full :D told my mum about the angels and demons, davinci code and some other stuff too. played mahjong after that. i won THREE rounds CONSECUTIVELY! :D too bad there was no money involved, not even the chips.

phew finally the semestral exams are O-V-E-R over! today i'm totally catching up on cyber time. facebook's got quite new stuff, especially pet society o.o haha.

let's see,
went to watch angels and demons with some of our class guys and some 2 charity guys and my usual group of buds. we went to plaza singapura at 2 plus, then bought ticks and waited... waited... waited before going into the cinema. claudia and i enjoyed watching the trailers on that giant screen, so much so that we didn't know when the whole group had left (or rather, they didn't tell us -.-). i also commented on how the actors would have done the photo shoots for the posters, like how tom hanks had to give this focused and constipated look, or how some other actress had to pose as if she was trying to swallow a giant burger. yep, those were hilarious :D

the show was AWESOME. plot's good, story's good, actors' good. yepyep. i jumped at one part, which made annabel laugh. claudia kept covering her mouth and wantian was guessing the who story. i think i saw a whole line of boring faces after wantian's seat. don't the guys ever have any expression for anything? weird peepo. i was shivering in there! ate dinner after the show, then went home.

tomorrow, going to zhongming's house for some birthday party :D hees.

life is starting to get super totally gigantically awesome :D i'm not bothered by the fact that O levels are in exactly 25 weeks. don't know why, but i find everything so amusing XD what's up with that? like how annabel made names for all of us: sammy, belly, clarry, tianny, jenny, freezy and juleeny. hees. oh well, there goes the bumpkin, bimbo, geisha, mu lao hu, maid etc. guess who i am :P

i never realised how much of a mahjong freak i am, until last friday (may day!). went to granparents' house for dinner, but went earlier than dinner time to do stuff. i planned to do my homework there, but then i took a 3 hour nap in a very unglam position. so glad no one toook a picture of me :D after dinner, played 5 rounds of mj. i kept laughing my ass off like some crazy nut that just escaped from a mental hospital. and i kept saying "NO NO! YOU WON'T WIN LAH!" i think the neighbours were on the verge of complaining already. it's official:


grandma also told us about something that made me laugh/cry. the following is a conversation between my grandpa and his friend, sunny (seriously, that's his name).
sunny: hey now got swine flu right! we should buy masks.
pa: huh you want buy mask ah?
sunny: ya lah! very simple. we just buy a woman bra, cut it in half, and it becomes 2 masks for both of us!
pa: o.o

what's your response? wantian said that bra could really be effective! this COULD be some way of reusing stuff rather than throwing them away. haha. i was thinking that if they wanted designer masks, they could just buy lingerie from Triumph or something.

my calculator has been staying at SOMEONE's house for the 3rd day now. i'm upset because SOMEONE forgot to bring it to school today! spot has never been in any sleepover before. you're an elephant with amnesia. forgetfuls will always be forgetfuls.
