heyho peepo! i came back from penang with HIHS choir just past a week ago. i know you must be expecting this post to be all about it. frankly speaking, it WAS! i just deleted the whole "day one" chunk. sheesh, wasted my efforts. anyway, i decided that i'm not gonna type a whole pile of words on the penang trip for this entire post. it'll be nice and easy :Dpenang trip was kinda fun. my roomie claris is a really interesting person. we always went over to chat with our neighbours, shervin and tingying. HAHA. lotsa secrets. shhh. and i remember the suakuness that claris and i expressed on the silkair flight. apparently, claris's suakuness was just pretend :/ nonetheless, it did manage to kill time in the plane, though the ride was like just 1 hour long :P "OH! THE PLANE IS MOVING!" HAHA! we also ate all sorts of food there; japanese, indian, western, malay, seafood. oh wow, it was really awesome :D masterclass was cool too! the teacher, mr william, is a super cool guy. though he's old (i think), he was able to click with us quite well! and he talked about some SATB dish on a plate thing (: shopping was nice (the first time you're hearing me say this!) it's true. i seem to have found a new thing for shopping. it all started when i bought a "you wanna PISA me" shirt on impulse. LOL! i can't believe i'm saying this, but i enjoyed the shopping! time flew as we ran from one end to the other in queensbay mall.
christmas week has finally ended. phew! it's been pretty hectic for the past 5 days. on tuesday, i went out with annabel, zhongming and zhiqi to 313, citylink, suntec and plaza sing. wow! we were on a mission to scout for christmas gifts for the gift exchange during the xmas party at claudia's house the next day. chocolate fondue at suntec was really nice.. and also kinda sweet o.o i enjoyed it, anyway. we were actually wasting time at 313 (ate din tai fung and explored hmv), citylink (to find roxy) and suntec (fondue). in the end, we bought our pressies from plaza sing. i got a cookie monster puppet! :D
wednesday was the day for xmas party! i got lost when i was on the way to claudia's. turns out, i dropped off at the right stop but walked in the wrong direction when i was in the estate. to give you an idea, here's my phone convo with noel/claudia:
sam: hello? what's your house number?
noel: *shouts at claudia* she says 57.
*sam looks around and notices that all the numbers are 90+ and increasing*
in the end, i managed to find clara and claudia who were at the playground with some of the guys. turns out they went there just seconds after i turned into the wrong road. noel got me a clam CHOWDER -.- he said something about me liking it as long as CHOWDER is there. sheesh. had a rousing game of pictionary with some of them. it was super funny! and clara said i'm a good guesser :D yay. barbeque was pretty good. i must say, our class guys are quite good at this. "this" refers to barbeque, not generally cooking. i pity those girls who're their future wives, whose gonna eat barbeque very often! cos i definitely don't want large chunks of carcinogen clogging up my system.

xmas drama in church was simply awesome! funny moments were really really funny :D and seriously, it's a love story. how romantic. i won't mind if something like that happened to me too! ;D ivan got saved on christmas day! woohoo~
lately, i've been feeling like some extra on the sidelines. i missed out on all the fun while i was away.
i'm... sad.
